AldrichEgg LLC is a Clinton-based, boutique law firm committed to the idea that the legal industry can and must do better by its clients. Thomas has been practicing law in New Jersey and New York since 1996. His practice focuses on the following areas:
High Yield Asset Trading:
Thomas has nearly twenty years of experience representing hedge funds and brokers in all aspects of the purchase and sale of high-yield illiquid assets, including syndicated loans (LSTA/LMA), restricted securities (debt/equity), and both domestic and foreign bankruptcy claims. This experience provides him with a keen understanding of the issues confronting clients in the trading markets allowing him to provide rapid and accurate execution of trades. Thomas is also able to assist clients who are considering participating in particular offerings of credit facilities or securities by providing detailed analysis of applicable governing documents to ensure that the unregistered securities transactions are in compliance with federal securities regulations.
Thomas’ business practice is devoted to counseling clients in connection with a wide array of issues including, but not limited to, start-up entity formation, on-going corporate governance, information privacy, and regulatory compliance, as well as general commercial and corporate transactions. He has served as outside general counsel on an as-needed basis for companies in both New Jersey and New York.
Thomas has significant experience representing clients in connection with New Jersey real estate matters. His services include:
- Negotiating residential and commercial purchase and sale agreements;
- Drafting appropriate real estate transfer documentation;
- Managing due diligence in connection with the purchase of real estate; and
- Providing representation in the leasing of residential and commercial real estate.
Over the past few years, Thomas has developed a growing practice advising clients in connection with the development and financing of renewable energy projects both within and outside New Jersey.
Thomas received his law degree from the Fordham University School of Law, and his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado – Boulder. Thomas is licensed to practice law in the States of New Jersey and New York.
